Senior applied scientist / scientific developer

We at Eigen Research split our time between providing Research and Development services to advance technology companies and working as a team on internal side projects. Our vision is to have an environment where people can collaborate and build what they think is worth building and achieving more than what they would on their own. Required

• Graduate degree in CS, ECE or other STEM disciplines

• Proficiency in deep learning, Bayesian inference, statistical modelling of data

• Comfortable researching literature, implementing and improving state of the art, and white-boarding math

• Proficiency in Python and its scientific ecosystem (pandas, scikit-learn, scipy, etc)

• Proficiency in Object Oriented paradigm, design patterns, and experience developing extensible software

• Practical understanding of data structures and algorithms

• Enjoy building, tinkering, and innovation

• Dedication to quality when it comes to delivering work to customers

Preferred

• Past experience with computer vision, audio processing, or digital signal processing

• Experience with C++/C

• Any full-stack skills (databases, front-end, cloud services, containerization, micro services, etc)

• Sense of humour
